Hello, here's our communications strategy for library services. It's a BRIGHTon idea <cough>.
Please do write to me if you have any following questions.
Communications Strategy for Library Services
Information is a conversation.
Go where the conversation is.
Bring the conversation back to the library.
- All communications are rooted in values which foster a progressive framing of library services, information services, and the university.
- We understand that every flier, sign, post, message and conversation is a strand of a larger narrative we are telling about ourselves and about the libraries.
- We prioritise the development of our own and our users’ technical abilities to communicate via online channels.
- We understand how students see library services online and on campus.
Thanks
Lisa

Subject: Library Web Presence
Hi all
I’m looking for some inspiration here - has anyone any links or docs to share that define their/any HE Library’s web presence in any way - strategic or detailed? Not just a list of services but more particularly the “why” of the web offering, and “who for”?
Bright ideas welcome
Thanks
Richard
