Dear SPM experts
I have 18F-FDG PET scans of 82 healthy subjects and I try to find clusters with significant correlations between age and measured activity using the SPM12 GUI. A reviewer suggested not to use proportional scaling but using SUV values instead. However, when I enter body weights as a vector in the "overal grand mean scaling" tab and apply no normalisation, I find no significant clusters.
Is this the right thing to do, or is it better to first convert the scans to SUV values outside the GUI and apply e.g. ANCOVA normalisation?
Thanks a lot in advance
