Thank you Dr Kinda, this is really great and very helpful. It will guide all the debutants in space syntax. Best wishes. Nawel from Algeria.

Dear
all,
Following requests by many colleagues both on
the mailing list and privately, we have decided to make the
current draft version of the "Space Syntax
Methodology" textbook available for
download;
Al-Sayed, K; Turner, A; Hillier, B; Iida, S;
Penn, A; (2014) Space Syntax methodology. A teaching
textbook for the MSc Spatial Design: Architecture &
Cities. Space Syntax Laboratory. Bartlett School of
Architecture,
UCL: London.
http://discovery.ucl.ac.uk/1415080/
Space
Syntax Methodology is a teaching companion that was
originally dedicated to support teaching on the MSc
Spatial Design: Architecture & Cities. Dr. Sam Griffiths
commissioned the project -as the course
director back in 2010- and supported it together with
Dr. Kayvan Karimi. The textbook complements the platform
training website that was recently launched by Space Syntax
Ltd and Space Syntax Laboratory. It offers tutorials and
theoretical descriptions of
the different representational schemes that are usually
used in Space Syntax research.
This
is a draft version of the textbook. Therefore, we would
really value your input and advice. Please email me
<[log in to unmask]> if you have any suggestions for
improvement, or if you would like to report
any errors.
Information about citation and Copyrights is
available at the back of the front page cover. Please do not
upload this textbook on any online platform, as it is in the
pipeline for open access publication.
We
hope this textbook will help support your research and
teaching!
Kinda
