Hi Bill,
There's a lot of dynamism in this - the mostly one or two syllable
words.
We're just getting the first budding of plum blossom now so there's a
bit of way to go yet here in the People's Republic of Millswood.
However, one of our wattles musta been confused as it's flowered weeks
ago and faded already. The other wattles are about to wattle on.

as if ready to burst
from below.
Dormancy retreats
as grass blades pulse,
ready to assert
dominance over clay.
Winds fan
rather than chill.
Bees lurk,
petals provide.
Wattle frizz overfills
branches' stretching.
Everything now ..
romp-ready.
