Dear Colleagues,
Please circulate to anyone you think may be interested in the following bursaries. The deadline for application has been extended.
The MA Humanities at the University of Derby is a challenging and exiting interdisciplinary taught course enabling you to pursue your own scholarly interests through structured modules. We offer support in subject areas such as Film, Television, Literature, Media, Creative Writing, American Studies and History. As it is an interdisciplinary programme you can undertake coursework in subject areas you wish to research. The programme also offers a Research module and a Dissertation module with the option to embark upon and undertake appropriate practical activities with theoretical reflection.
We are currently offering 2 x £500 bursaries for the MA Humanities for September 2015. The bursary is in the form of a partial fee waiver for students applying for the MA Humanities full time.
To apply for one of these bursaries please send a 750 word statement regarding your interest in the programme, your intended area of research for a dissertation or research project and any other relevant information regarding your need for the bursary. The statement should be sent to be sent to the Programme Leader, Teresa Forde, by Friday 4th September noon. Please entitle the email ‘MA BURSARY’.
You also need to complete an online application for the programme. The bursary application will be considered in conjunction with the completed online application for the programme.
