Lecturers & Festivals Research Seminar

Open to lecturers, students, recent graduates, festival staff & industry professionals
We would like to invite you to an afternoon conference discussing the importance and challenges of research.

12.30-16.30, Friday 11 September 2015

Theatres Trust, 22 Charing Cross Road, London WC2H 0QL
We will be investigating festival and university collaboration - looking at the benefits and compromises, the roles and responsibilities, the methods and technologies.
The: Why / What / How
Open to all who are interested in this important topic. Speakers will include Mike Phillips, Professor of Interdisciplinary Arts, Plymouth University (School of Arts & Media, Faculty of Arts) and Director of Research at i-DAT<http://artsfestivals.us2.list-manage.com/track/click?u=da7e08c17341e6c83bfb2c859&id=07f3a5acad&e=49e330624b>; Kate Dunton, Research and Education Manager,Cultural Institute<http://artsfestivals.us2.list-manage.com/track/click?u=da7e08c17341e6c83bfb2c859&id=616f618182&e=49e330624b>, King's College, London; and Richard Fletcher, Festivals Researcher, De Montfort University<http://artsfestivals.us2.list-manage2.com/track/click?u=da7e08c17341e6c83bfb2c859&id=d6e336ae34&e=49e330624b>, Leicester.
The format will be very interactive, focusing on discussion and there will be plenty of time for questions and networking - and light refreshments!
