Dear Colleague,
We are inviting submission of articles for a special issue of the peer
reviewed, free open-access journal "Methods, Data, Analyses" (mda) focusing
on "Data collection in panel surveys". Papers should address methodological

Only papers that address panel-specific issues will be considered.
Topics of interest include (but are not limited to) measurement issues like
panel conditioning, seam effects and dependent interviewing or
representation issues like attrition, tracking and panel maintenance, design
of refreshment samples, following rules and longitudinal weighting. We also

e.g.
questionnaire construction, fieldwork monitoring, use of paradata, adaptive

collection processing, and editing. We specifically welcome papers that
implement field experiments in ongoing panel surveys to address the topics
mentioned above.
