Dear Dee,
Throwing away preferred views does not fill the gap in Fourier space of
the other views. Often, tweeking your sample to get more views (add
detergents, glow-discharge with amylamine, etc) will lead to a much
better map.

PS: awk on the data.star might help you with creating the file you mention.

Right now I plan to throw away some of the images with this view in order to balance the others'. In this case, I should throw away the images based on the 2D classification results. Or I can generate a Preferred_View_Particles.star file based on the Refine3D output files (run1_class001_angdist.bild or run1_data.star files). I don't know which way is better and how people deal with this problem. I personally prefer the second way. But I totally don't know how to generate that file. So any suggestion will be appreciated.
