The university of Xi'an Jiaotong, China and the University of Liverpool, UK are organising an exciting international symposium on 'Reclaiming Identity and (Re)Materializing Pasts: Approaches to Heritage Conservation in China'- see attached call for papers. The symposium will take place from 6 April to 8 April 2016 and will be held in Xi'an Jiatong-Liverpool University (XJTLU) in Suzhou on the east coast of China. The symposium is free of charge to delegates whose papers are accepted for presentation. Both accommodation and travel costs will be covered by the organising committee. We intend to publish selected papers in book form.
