Britta, you are absolutely right! This message exemplifies the
deliberate attempt to turn academe from an activity driven by
curiosity and intellectual integrity into a for-profit business. It
is a philosophy that has resulted in the destruction of the once-great
tertiary education system in the UK. Pray that it doesn't happen here!
