Our client is one of the largest functional biometrics suppliers in Europe providing global pharma, biotech, medical device and animal health partners with innovative, cost effective development services specialising in:
clinical data management through optimal process design with paper or EDC data capture solutions
statistical expertise through consultative study design to reporting

They are looking for a Senior SAS Programmer to be home based or work from their office in Norfolk, UK who will be responsible for statistical programming activities relating to clinical trials.
Areas of responsibility include:
• Programming lead on selected projects, co-ordinating team activities including communication with client and PMs, responsible for forecasting and tracking of progress
• Development, maintenance and validation of SAS® programs for the production of analysis datasets and tables, figures and listings for inclusion in clinical study reports
• Creation and review of format shells for tables, figures and listings from a programming perspective
• Development of analysis dataset specifications
• Development, maintenance and validation of SAS based utilities and client specific SAS® extraction tools in support of data management deliverables and processes
• Data capture design review and input into data standards
• CDISC SDTM mapping and programming
General responsibilities include:
• Contributing to our clients development of new systems, processes and SOPs
Experience and skills required:
• Strong analytical, programming and data interpretation skills ideally with a working knowledge of CDSIC, SDTM and ADaM standards
• Minimum of 5-6 years SAS® programming experience ideally in the Pharmaceutical or CRO Industries
• Good organisational skills with the ability to proactively prioritise projects and tasks
• Commercial awareness
• Practical experience with SAS v. 9 and macro development
• Understanding of clinical development processes
