the Authority is now launching this public consultation so that they may consider contributions from all those who have an interest in consumer price statistics. They welcome every contribution to the consultation.
The consultation begun on 15 June 2015, and will close on 15 September. In the autumn of 2015 the authority will publish a summary of the responses received in a report, and make the responses to the consultation available on their website. The Board of the Authority will consider the consultation report carefully, alongside any advice from the Authority’s regulatory function, before it issues its final response in early 2016.
There are several events running throughout the three month consultation period, these will give an overview of the consultation and provide users with the opportunity to express their views on the issues raised.
