Dear colleagues,
The elections for the presidency and the executive board of the European Sociological Association are now open.
I am running for the executive board and if you feel comfortable with it, then I would very much appreciate it if you could vote for me.
I have been on the board of the "Research Network on Ageing in Europe" for the last 8 years, lately as the chair. I have to leave the board now because of some changes in the statutes. However, I would love to continue working within the ESA and to continue to shape how sociology in Europe develops - and make sure that the opinions of ageing researchers are heard. It would, therefore, be great if I could join the executive board this year.
There are 26 people running for this board, while only 10 places are available. Thus, the competition is strong. Your vote could make the difference.
With kind regards,
