Hi Shaneela,
I'm looking into a similar issue as we run lactate on our Olympus mainline automation and Siemens ABG devices (WEQAS ABG). We're looking to implement a handheld lactate device and presumed that we'd register with the RIQAS lactate scheme (mainline automation).
Have you spoken to RIQAS or WEQAS directly?
Kind regards,
Clare

Good morning,
We have WEQAS metabolites (glucose & lactate) for the Blood gas analysers as well as the WEQAS POCT Creatinine scheme for the 2 lactate meters in use at the CCC Radiotherapy.
Thanks
Mansour

Subject: Lactate EQA schemes
Hi everybody,
What EQA schemes do people use for POCT Lactate devices? I'm having a little trouble finding anything out there. If anyone is using a scheme how often are the samples and how much per year? (is it per year or per device?)
Many Thanks
