Hi Theresa
We do not provide any governance for testing in the patient's home, only testing performed by healthcare professionals. Our staff at ward level do provide testing advice and show patients how to use devices they may have purchased themselves (mainly glucose though). There has always been a debate about where POCT begins and ends but we currently do not have a plan in place to provide governance to patients outside of the traditional healthcare boundaries.

Subject: CoaguChek's
I was wondering if anybody had CoaguChek's being used by parents in their homes? I have been asked what other sites do in this situation for EQA?
Thanks,
Theresa
