Two-year postdoc available in the lab of Matthew Paul to work on the
interaction between Trehalose-6-Phosphate and SnRK1 in maize. For this
role good protein and molecular skills are essential.
Trehalose-6-phosphate is a powerful sugar signal in plants that
regulates the feast/ famine protein kinase SnRK1.
The project will determine further details of this interaction, which
underpins yield increases in maize, at the protein and molecular level.
