Dear Vladimir
By now, i have finished the source analysis of Sub 15 in the new multimodal group chapter (due to the missing bad_channels files in FTP and time-consuming 100 G downloading, i can't finish the source analysis across subjects now). This time, i run the batches downloaded from the FTP. Unfortunately, The result is still different from Figure 41.13 in SPM12 manual. This Fig told "the evoked response for three conditions from the peak vertex (at [+52,-59,-21]mm)at 165 ms". However, my result told that it was at [24, -98, -4] mm at 165 ms. Were the Figure 41.13 also generated by old SPM code? Could you please check whether the result using latest version SPM12 is same with my result?
(One bit of advice, if SPM manual indicate SPM version used in analysis and provide that version, reproduce may be more easier for users.)
Best,
Liang Zhou

Dear Liang,
I wouldn't get too worried as SPM code has undergone some development since that figure was generated and for single subject data you might get slightly different results. If you are looking for something more reproducible I suggest you follow the source analysis part of the new multimodal group chapter http://www.fil.ion.ucl.ac.uk/spm/doc/manual.pdf#Chap:data:multi
Best,
Vladimir

Dear SPM experts:
I am new to source reconstruction using spm12. My version of SPM12 is up to date.I did the data processing procedure step by step exactly as the mannual said. Although there is no error reported by matlab, i got inconsistent results.
In Chapter 39 EEG Mismatch Negativity Data, the manual told that the position with largest magnitude signal at 160 ms post-stimulus was [-15,2,65] (as shown in Figure 39.9). However, my result told that it was at [-8, -25, 39]. I repeated and checked several time still don't know why. Could you give any suggestion?
Sincerely
Liang Zhou
