Dear SPM experts and guys who read the messageļ¼
"Steady State Evoked Potentials (SSEP) are signals that are natural responses to visual or auditory stimulation at specific frequencies,When the retina is excited by a visual stimulus ranging from 3.5 Hz to 75 Hz, the brain generates electrical activity at the same (or multiples of) frequency of the stimulus(wikipedia)".
I am interested in source localisation on SSEP. As SSEP has the remarkable characteristic in frequency domian, One direct thought is that EEG source imaging in the frequency domain. Can SPM do this?
I guess the big idea of SPM source recounstruction is : do time- frequency analysis after reconstructing source activity based on evoked or averaged data ( not on frequency domian directly) . If this is true, could you give any suggestion about SSEP source recounstruction (usually long trials ,for about 10s)?
Sincerely
Liang Zhou
