Hi,
We've got an opening for a digital content officer role; producing all our video, image and graphical content, working with our researchers, nurses, clinicians and participants to show what clinical research means to them and the great work happening here.
It's really, really interesting and important stuff, and my R&D comms team is the only one like it in the NHS, so it is a unique opportunity to build a personal portfolio of content and projects in a subject area no one else has such continuous access to.
We're one of the largest teaching hospital trusts in the UK, and one of the most research active - we're in partnership with the University of Southampton to take science through to the clinic across all medical disciplines, so the work covers the full circle from basic science/problem identification through to use in clinic and back again.
There's a full shooting and production setup onsite, based around a Canon 5DIII and Adobe Creative Cloud, so everything needed is on hand and you can focus on the people and stories.
Plus we've got beaches, sun and green stuff everywhere down here too.
If you, or anyone you know is interested the job listing is linked below with my details if you want an informal discussion; salary is in the range £21,692 - £28,180 pa and the advert closes at midnight on 14 July.
