As of June 2015 The British Journal for the History of Science has moved its list of books received to a page on the journal’s website. We will no longer be printing the list in the journal, but will instead provide a new list online every quarter. An archive of previous lists will also be held on the journal’s website.
The journal is happy to commission reviews from established academics, emeriti, doctoral students, and independent scholars. Prospective reviewers are encouraged to browse the books received list and contact the reviews editor, Dr Don Leggett, with suggestions for books they’d like to review. The reviews editor is also open to suggestions for reviews of books either not on the list, or forthcoming, provided they have been published within the past two calendar years.
