Hi Vicki,
We had a similar problem with a student's My EBSCOhost account which we reported to EBSCO in March and again in June. The student in question was able to log in to their My EBSCOhost account and save searches but then was not able to retrieve any saved searches from their folder. It was unusual because you could see that their Saved Searches folder contains content, but when you tried to access it you were given the "application level exception. To continue with the session go back to the previous page" error. After a lot of to-and-fro with the EBSCO support department our call was passed onto their development team who are now looking into this issue. It has been with the development team for a month now with no progress and it is still unclear why this has happened.
Best wishes,
Kimberly

Hi Vicki,
We had this problem too. I think EBSCO deployed a fix on May 20th - the student concerned was able to log in again after this but some of his saved results were missing.
I haven't had any reports from students that it is still happening, but I don't know what caused the problem in the first place.
Best wishes,
Anna

Dear Colleagues
I have been trying to get to the bottom of an error problem that we experienced with My Ebscohost which we reported to Ebsco in February. This was where users were getting the error "application level exception. To continue with the session go back to the previous page", we also had reports of lost searches with some My Ebscohost accounts. The call is still with Ebsco but I still have not been given a reason for why this happened even though I have chased up several times. I know this is some time back but I was wondering if anybody else experienced a similar problem with My Ebscohost around about this time and whether a solution was found.
Regards
Vicki
