I am a student currently completing my MA in Librarianship at the
University of Sheffield, and am conducting research into the relationship
between Open Access and incidents of scholarly hacking (or "hacktivism").
I am seeking the opinions of information professionals who work closely
with Open Access, electronic resources or institutional repositories to
help inform my research and hoped you might find the time to answer five
quick questions about your opinions on the subject.
You do not need to have any specialist knowledge about scholarly hacking;
my research involves your personal and professional opinion, and an
unawareness of the phenomena is as valuable to my research as in-depth
insights.
All responses will be kept anonymous and all data will be destroyed at the
end of the project. This research has received ethics approval from the
University of Sheffield.
Please get in touch with me at [log in to unmask] if you would be
interested in participating.
Best,
Suzanna Hall
