We have an exciting opportunity for a Software Product Engineer in our ArcGIS Runtime SDK team working on Java and Android platforms (see http://developers.arcgis.com). Our SDKs allow developers to create high impact mapping applications on native platforms.
As a Java technologist you will contribute to critical areas of product development including:
* Technical authoring
* Functional and stress testing
* API design
* User requirements gathering
* Contribution to online forums and industry conferences
* Integration with other ArcGIS and server technologies
We are looking for a remarkable candidate who can offer:
* A Degree (2:1 or higher) in computing, GIS or similar fields
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Java development experience with Java SE or Android
* Experience of using web services
* An understanding of database, server and cloud based architectures
* JUnit, Python, C++ or SQL experience would be beneficial
