Our client is internationally recognised for providing a large variety of customers with quality, dependable geographical information. The company is looking for a pro-active customer relationship management and sales professional who will be involved in the following:
Providing input to international proposals by writing compelling (winning) submissions and supporting the international team. Increase market position by locating, developing, negotiating, and closing business relationships / opportunities with clearly defined customers. Obtain early business intelligence to identify priority opportunities. Screen and constantly have an overview of the UK tender market for Mapping, Surveying and related services. Support international business development with focus on UK-based consulting and
engineering companies. Be Responsible for supporting the internal team and the international tendering team for marketing and business intelligence targets. Building and sustaining professional networks and markets trends with growth as the objective.
Ideally you will have 3-5 years of relevant sales or marketing experience, a Bachelor’s degree in Geospatial Science, preferably in Aerial
Survey, Photogrammetry, Remote Sensing, GIS, and digital map production (additional business degree is of value) and professional knowledge built on an understanding of the theoretical concepts, including the underlying principles and their context.
User of GIS, CRM and Microsoft Office.
The position is based from home.
