Dear Colleague,
UCML (University Council of Modern Languages http://www.ucml.ac.uk/) is conducting a survey on Language Teaching in Less-Widely Taught Languages in order to seek data regarding the Number of contact hours, Credit weighting, Class numbers, Mapping of language proficiency, and Health of the discipline for Higher Education Institutions in which less-widely spoken languages are taught at degree level.
These languages include, but are not restricted to, Portuguese, Middle-Eastern languages, Chinese, Japanese, Slavonic and East European languages, Scandinavian languages.
