Please note that registration for the Workshop on Flexible Models for Longitudinal and Survival Data with Applications in Biostatistics (27th-29th July, 2015) is still open, but closes on July 10.
Details can be found at http://www2.warwick.ac.uk/fac/sci/statistics/crism/workshops/fmlsjd
This workshop aims to bring together statisticians and applied practitioners working in the areas of longitudinal models, survival models, and joint models for longitudinal and survival data, with a special focus on the use of flexible distributional assumptions. The workshop is divided into three parts: Longitudinal Modelling (27th July), Survival Modelling (28th July), and Joint Modelling (29th July).
The workshop features world-renowned speakers, with keynote presentations from:
Rebecca Betensky - Harvard School of Public Health
Michael J. Crowther - University of Leicester
Vern Farewell - MRC Cambridge
Arnošt Komárek - Charles University in Prague
Peter Müller - University of Texas Austin
Cecile Proust-Lima - INSERM U897, Biostatistics department
Bernard Rachet - The London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine
Dimitris Rizopoulos - Erasmus MC
We have allocated funding for ten career-young researchers and aim to create a stimulating environment where established and career-young researchers can interact. The workshop also includes a poster session. If you would like to present a poster, please send an abstract to [log in to unmask] (closing date for poster submission is July 10).
The workshop is funded by EPSRC and organised through CRiSM (Centre for Research in Statistical Methodology, University of Warwick).
We very much look forward to seeing you at Warwick for this exciting event!
