Statistics post-doctoral research fellow (Sydney, Australia)
There is an exciting new opportunity for a postdoctoral position working
with Professor Louise Ryan at University of Technology Sydney. The
successful candidate will be part of a vibrant and growing statistics
group at University of Technology Sydney. Matt Wand is also a
professor in the group. Peter Green and Raymond Carroll have regular
visiting appointments and routinely collaborate with group members.
This position is jointly funded by the Australian Research Council
Centre of Excellence for Mathematical and Statistical
Frontiers(http://acems.org.au/), as well as the Bill and Melinda Gates
Foundation (http://www.gatesfoundation.org/). The successful candidate
will engage in a blend of methodological and applied research. In
particular, the candidate will be part of an exciting international team
developing and applying statistical methods to integrate data from
multiple different studies on child growth and development. Some
international travel will be required.
