Hello,
I wonder if anyone has experience of LED lights and if they can offer me any advice?
We have some artwork that is lit by a spotlight. The artwork is framed behind has UV inhibiting glazing but in terms of writing a conservation note for it we have been sent this information by the lighting manufacturer:
"In terms of UV radiation from LED's the relative damage factor has been calculated as 0.149 f(mW/Im), over the complete visual spectrum."
Is this... good?
Many thanks for any gems of wisdom on this matter,
Arike
