Yes, the display becomes confusing with many sessions/conditions easily. However, you could also look at SPM.xX.name within the SPM.mat, it should look like
Sn(1) [name of condition]*bf(1)
Sn(1) [name of condition]*bf(2)
Sn(1) [name of condition]*bf(3)
Sn(1) [name of condition]x[name of PM]^1*bf(1)
Sn(1) [name of condition]x[name of PM]^1*bf(2)
Sn(1) [name of condition]x[name of PM]^1*bf(3)
...
with Sn(1) refering to session 1, bf 1 to 3 indicating HRF and its derivatives, ^1 indicating the 1st order PM.
