There are facets to this and it depends upon your competence to administer CPR and treat in the capacity as a first aider. For many with clinical practice this is no issue however OHN who perhaps doesn't undertake such practice would be best to have CPR/ FA training.
For the OHA in my team I require CPR and FAAW as standard requirements in the work settings.
I hope this helps.

Subject: [OCC-HEALTH] OH and first aid
Good evening
Could someone tell me or advise on who I should contact regarding where OH nurses stand regarding First Aid. I will be going on a trip and have been asked to provide first aid if required. As a qualified OH nurse do I need to go on an official first aid course or will my OH qualification be sufficient?
Thank you in advance.
Kind regards
Jo
