Dear all,
The Department for Transport (DfT), supported by Knowledge Transfer Network (KTN) and Transport Systems Catapult, is shortly to open its recurring Transport-Technology Research Innovations Grant (T-TRIG) competition, offering fully-funded grants of up to £25,000 to help stimulate novel ideas in transport.
Applications will be accepted from 29 June, with a deadline of midnight on 20 July 2015.
T-TRIG will support for development of either a proof of concept, an initial prototype or a feasibility study that demonstrates an innovative solution to transport challenges. This competition is open to all transport challenges, although applicants may wish to align their proposals with the Department’s priorities and policies.
To assist potential applicants, KTN will be hosting two briefing webinars, on 2 July 2015 (11:00 to 12:00am) and 6 July 2015 (11:00 to 12:00am), for details of how to apply and the chance to directly ask the DfT questions about the new competition.
