I am not sure what exactly it is you are planning to do but you could
take a look at http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/22530053 ; this was
done on fMRI but you could conceivably do something similar for VBM. I
am not sure, though, that you can draw inferences from effect size on
the method for multiple comparison correction (as this will depend on
several other factors), but I may have gotten that wrong.
