Vacancy for a Optics Scientist/Research Engineer
Max-Planck-Institute for Intelligent Systems, Tuebingen, Germany
We are a fast-growing centre of research excellence in computer vision,
robotics, and machine learning. Our research seeks to understand
mathematical principles of intelligent systems. This involves analysing
and modelling, but also building such systems.
We are not content to generate new ideas - we want our ideas to have an
impact and be used. The Central Scientific Facility 'Optics and Sensing' is
a unique facility that supports research and development of new algorithms
for image processing, enhancement and denoising, the integration of sensing
systems of different types (stereo, video, range, etc.), new sensors and
algorithms for computational photography and astronomy, and the development
of real-time sensing systems for robotic platforms.
