Dear colleagues,
This is just to alert you to the forthcoming BBC Radio 4 programme, 'The War Game Files', which will be transmitted on Saturday 6 June; available on BBC iplayer thereafter.
It aims to shed fresh light on an old controversy - who banned Peter Watkins' 1965 film from TV; the Government or the BBC ? - drawing upon declassified Cabinet Office papers.

Today, I have also published an article on this for 'The Conversation'.

Feel free to share with students, friends and other colleagues. 'The War Game' is an important story which deserves to be widely known.
