Hello
At University of Portsmouth we are due to be getting some open access rolling stacks to replace some of our static shelving on the library floor next summer. This will increase our floor space, enabling us to fit in more seating for library users.
We are currently looking at what stock will be going into the rolling stacks and I am trying to gauge what other libraries have done. If your library has rolling stacks accessible by library users, I would be grateful for answers to the following questions:
Have you continued your normal sequence into the rolling stack?
Or have you put certain collections into the rolling stack?
If so, which collections?
How did you decide what to put into the rolling stack?
Thank you for any help or advice
