Subject Librarians: time for a fresh look?
An event specifically aimed at Subject Librarians/Information Manager/Academic Support Librarian and others who have a library related role with subject responsibilities.

Time: 9.30-4.30.
Here at the University of Hertfordshire we are pleased to host an event to provide the opportunity for ‘subject librarians’ or equivalents to meet, share experience and expertise and discuss good practice.
Our Key Speaker, Emma Walton (Loughborough University) will get the day started with her views on the role and how this may look in the future. This will be followed up by presentations focussing on various different aspects of the job, and how others have taken forward new ideas and approaches. Programme to follow.
The themes of the day will include:
- The Role of the Subject Librarian
- Liaising with academics
- Working and engaging with students
- Information Literacy
- Collection management
