Thanks Ann, we have a call open with Eduserv at the moment. They are talking to Barbour for us so hopefully we get a resolution soon.

Hello Nadine
We did have a report of a user unable to get access yesterday, of the type 'invalid return URL specified', which we couldn't replicate here but did see a few weeks ago when Barbour changed their login page. I suspect local caching in that case.
The issue for you may be about the UK Federation versus the OpenAthens one - we are members of both, with the same IdP address for both (now) but occasionally we get an error message where the supplier has decided to go for UK Fed but the service is registered for us via OpenAthens - might be worth talking to the EduServ helpdesk about?

Good luck!

Hi Ann,

Thanks for getting in touch. We are getting the message "I am sorry, but you do not currently have permissions to access this service. Please contact your administrator", when we connect to the link provided in OpenAthens administration: http://www.barbour.info/OpenAthensLogin.aspx

We are part of the UK Federation using OpenAthens LA and no longer use our old Shibboleth entity ID. Barbour have been provided with all of our technical information so I'm not sure what is going wrong.

Regards
Nadine

Hello Nadine
We've been using Barbour Index for several years under classic and now OpenAthens. What sort of problems are you having?

We've recently subscribed to Barbour Index but cannot get the resource to work via OpenAthens. Is anyone else using Barbour successfully via OpenAthens? I am getting no joy from the company.

Regards
Nadine
