Dear Colleague,
Do you know anything about the following person, or have any fossils relating
to him in your collection?
Reverend George Crabbe 1754 – 1832: 'English clergyman, botanist and collector
of fossils'.
I am particularly interested in finding examples of his handwriting, and
knowing where his fossils specimens ended up.
Also, if anyone has a copy of ‘Geologists and the History of Geology’, please
could you send me a scan or photocopy of page 353 where George Crabbe is
mentioned. I’d really appreciate it.
Many thanks indeed for your help.
With best wishes, Nigel.
