Dear All
The Department of Social and Political Science at the University of Chester, UK (http://www.chester.ac.uk/sps) is looking to expand upon its panel of sessional visiting lecturers to support in its delivery of undergraduate Economics programmes. Economics at the University of Chester sits within a department specialising in the delivery of critical social science programmes such as Sociology, Criminology, International Relations and Politics. In addition the department is also home to a Division of Counselling and Psychotherapy and a Centre for Research in Psychological Trauma.
Our Economics provision consists of a Combined Honours Economics programme (http://www.chester.ac.uk/undergraduate/economics) and a Single Honours Economics and Business programme (http://www.chester.ac.uk/undergraduate/economics-and-business). Those wishing to be considered for hourly-paid, sessional visiting lecturer posts will need to be suitably qualified in the field of Economics, holding a postgraduate qualification (MA, MSc, MPhil, PhD etc..) as a minimum, and preferably with experience in the teaching and assessment of undergraduate students. We would expect them to be based within the region.
Interested parties should send a full CV and covering letter to the Head of Department, Meriel D’Artrey via email at [log in to unmask]
