Subject: CFP on sexualities in Asia
Dear Aya-san,
It's been a while since we last exchanged emails. How have you been lately?
After finishing my Ph.D. three years ago, I've been teaching, writing, and raising kids (I had my second two years ago). My dissertation is now under review at a press, so I am crossing my figures that this will go well.
I'm writing today to ask if you could distribute a CFP on Asian/Asian American sexualities for a academic blog, Notches (http://notchesblog.com/). (The CFP is attached.) I am one of the editors of it and will be in charge of submissions related to Asia.
If you or any of your colleagues/students would be interested in publishing a short essay, we'd be most delighted.
Hope all is well with you!
Best,
Aiko
