Hi Anne,
This was our concern as often we will have samples arrived with the
previous days labels. We use autorelease in Meditech to verify and have
discovered that some calculations are not being triggered as they should
and we may potentially miss an alert. I've had a conference call with
Meditech this week to discuss.
I'm on AL next week but will catch up with you on my return

Subject: AKI algorithm on meditech
Thanks Clare, that explains why David Kennedy has it working OK on v6
since the lab that contacted me are using MAGIC workstation - I wonder
why meditech have set it up differently!!
As far as I know they verify in Meditech - I'll find out and get back in
touch.
If v6 uses ordered date and time, might this not be very different from
sample date and time?
Best wishes
Anne

Hi Anne,
In MAGIC it uses verify time but in Version 6 it goes on ordered date
and time and this is hard coded - so testing is entirely different. Do
you verify in Meditech or do you have a data manager?
I'm happy to help with the calculation in anyway I can, if you would
like my direct e-mail please let me know.
Best Wishes
Clare

Hi Anne,
We have AKI alerts running in Meditech V6 at Sunderland.
We are assured that the date and time of collection are used and there
were no problems running the test script.
We have been running for a month now with no issues.
