Dear Colleagues,
I'd like to draw your attention to a three-year AHRC-funded project on British cinema which is being run jointly between the universities of York and UEA (and in partnership with the British Film Institute). The project aims at a major reconsideration of the British cinema of the 1960s, focusing on the central tensions between novelty and continuity which characterised much of the decade.
If you'd like to find out more about the project, our blog is now up and running here: https://60sbritishcinema.wordpress.com/
We are planning a number of outputs, including edited collections, symposia and a conference - all to be announced in due course.
