Dear Anthropologists and researchers,I would like to let you know about my book describing an ethnographic study of recovery among mental health day center clients in the west of Ireland. The book engages methodological, ethical, political and theoretical debates as well as reporting on ethnographic evidence for the therapeutic effects of creativity and social support in day care environments internationally.
The book would be relevant to any mental health and social science discipline such as psychology, sociology, nursing, medicine, community development, social work, therapies professions. It also has relevance for creative professions and researchers since it describes a piece of ethnographic research and refers to an extensive bibliography and resource list across the international arts and human sciences. Please find attached a brief e-book synopsis and below links to the Palgrave and Amazon sites where sample chapters can be read.
