Subject: Welcome Messages, NACADA annual conference US, & congratulations to our Leading Light
Dear Colleagues,
I wanted to share with you some of the welcome messages UKAT has received from other national organisations;
Dear Cathy and colleagues,
Congratulations, once more! Welcome, UKAT! We wish you lots of success, and we are looking forward to working with UKAT and NACADA on many issues that pertain to all of us, advisors and tutors, regardless of our specific national systems of higher education.
Kind regards,

On behalf of NACADA, I want to welcome this group to our NACADA family but more importantly say how much I am eager for our colleagues across the globe to learn from the work and research you are doing in the UK as well as network with you and have the opportunities for you to learn and network from colleagues as well.
This is an historic for NACADA to have our first allied association outside of North America.
Charlie Nutt
NACADA Executive Director
Dear UKAT Colleagues,
Congratulations on your name and formation of the group. As the Chair of the NACADA Global Initiatives Committee I join Charlie Nutt in welcoming you!
You also have another reason to celebrate and that is your Chair, Penny Robinson, has just been awarded the Leading Light Award from NACADA. Penny will receive her award at a special awards ceremony at the NACADA Annual Conference in Las Vegas this coming October.
Congratulations to Penny and UKAT!
Best wishes,
Karen
There seem to be some exciting opportunities here for developing international connections. On which note, if you have funds or funding, you may be interested in Nacada's Annual Conference in the US, 4-7 October, Caesar's Palace Nevada. The theme is What Happens in Advising Stays with Students. If you are planning on attending please let us know, it would be great if Penny Robinson (our chair) had some support when she receives her Leading Light Award from Nacada. Congratulations Penny!
Best wishes
