Hi Caroline
with the txt file from pre-processing you add the six motion regressors created during realignment to the model, if you use the "...outliers and movement" file from the art imaging toolbox then you will add the motion regressors and in addition a constant for each artifactual timepoint that you want to omit. you have to decide what your criteria for omitting scans is. you could then review those by setting the limits within art and review those scans that would fall outside of your criteria. also very handy is that you can save the analysis mask as it would look like post time point elimination within art to see what effect the omission would have on the single subject analysis mask. If no time points are omitted then yor "...outliers and movement" file is identical to the .txt movement regressors.
Greetings
Nora

Subject: [SPM] Motion correction parameters
Dear SPM experts,
I use Art toolbox to check motion in my data. When performing 1st level analyses, I would enter motion parameters in multiple regressors. Should I use 'art_regression_outliers_and_movement_f*.mat' or 'rp_f*.txt' from preprocessing ?
Thank you so much
Best regards
Caroline
