Teresa Segura-Garcia (PhD, Faculty of History, University of Cambridge) will present "The lens and the maharaja: The photographic remaking of Indian kingship in the late colonial period" on Tuesday, 26th May, 4:00-6:00pm, S2 Seminar Room, Alison Richard Building, 7 West Rd., CB3 9DT. The series aims to introduce under-/postgraduate students, academic staff, and researchers at different career stages to the ways in which visual research methods support the development of new perspectives on South Asian history and culture. The series is part of the Visual Language and South Asian History Program led by Dr Annamaria Motrescu-Mayes (CSAS and Clare Hall).
