Here at LSTM, our teaching staff are keen for some training on best practice approaches to creating reading lists. We’ve developed some guidelines which give recommendations on content, terminology and categories (essential, further) but I wondered if other institutions have provided support or training to their lecturers around what makes a good reading list. We don’t currently use reading list software and are therefore paper-based (at least for the time being).
Does anyone have any materials they would be willing to share or know of anyone providing support in this area?
