Dear All,
The Department of Germanic Studies at the University of Sheffield has
just advertised a fixed-term Teaching Associate post (1 Sept 2015 - 31
August 2016).
The key requirements of the post are as follows.
"The successful candidate will contribute to the delivery, assessment
and development of German language teaching at all undergraduate levels
as well as to content modules where appropriate. The post-holder will
have native or near-native command of spoken and written German and have
experience of teaching German as a foreign language in higher education.
A commitment to future curriculum development in language teaching and
an ability to assist in innovation in approaches to learning and
teaching are desirable. Preference may be given to candidates with
particular knowledge of post-1945, especially post-Wende, German
society, culture and film."
