Hi all,
Are their any known nutritive effects on the FA?
In my special case, the subjects have undergone a quite strict diet and some have lost up to 15kg in on year. I have FA data frome timepoints before and after this period. I have to admit that its quite a small study with only six subjects. Yet, in the timepoints afterwards there is a quite clear and global increase of FA.
I dont really know what to think of this.
So, is it an error in the accquisition? For example, in case the extracranial structures have decreased. Yet, the normalization should overcome this, shouldn't it?
If loss of intracranial fat is the reason, then i would rather expect an decreasing FA due to less myelin, or am I wrong with this?
Or is there any other possible effect of an weight loss to intracraniell FA, which I'm just too blind to see at the moment?
I'm thankful for any ideas or tips
Regards
Christian
