Dear all,
I am emailing you to announce the launch of our new Open Access Journal: The Journal of Applied Social theory<http://socialtheoryapplied.com/journal/>
Editors: Dr Mark Murphy (university of Glasgow, UK) & Dr Cristina Costa (University of Strathclyde, UK).
The objective in setting up this new open-access journal is to fill a gap in current academic debates regarding the treatment of well-established and sometimes revered theories, theories that can all too often inhibit discussion while shying away from more applied forms of theoretical work.
We welcome submissions from all disciplines, and also outside academia, in particular from authors who wish to apply theory in innovative and ground-breaking ways.
You can read more about the journal here: http://socialtheoryapplied.com/journal/index.php/journal/about
Please consider submitting an article and fee free to share the link with colleagues who might be working or are interested in this area
We are also on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/SocialTheoryApplied
If you have any further questions, please don’t hesitate to contact us.
Kind regards,
Cristina and Mark
